Passionate About Inspiring Others
On my birthday in 2016, I was blindsided when my wife of 20-years said she no longer loved me and wanted a divorce. Like so many men who should've seen it coming, but chose not to, I tumbled into a battle with depression, fixated on suicide, and nearly believed it when I was told that I’d failed at e-v-e-r-t-y-h-i-n-g. But by claiming small victories each day, building incremental momentum, and leaning into the inspiration of others, I slowly pulled myself up and out, with a promise to myself that when I made it, I would devote my life to helping others do the same.
A graduate of the Entertainment Industry's Peter Stark Producing Program at USC, and guest scholar at La FEMIS, the French National Cinema School in Paris, my early writing and themes were known for their dark existential edge, leading me to work largely as a ghost without a name. Later, I would find redemption and own my identity in writing historical fiction, documentaries, and messages of hope and empowerment for positivity-oriented organizations, leading voices in the self improvement movement, and top innovators in the health and wellness space.

My current creative and entrepreneurial passion is the Challenges Model of Marketing, which, in the pandemic-tempered world, engages and motivates people like nothing else I've ever seen. Inspired by my mentor, the "Challenge Guy" Pedro Adao, I'm working with a small number of hand-selected gurus to create challenges that teach, lift, and enable ordinary people from around the globe to accomplish extraordinary things. This, while I also continue developing a series of transformative challenges and courses geared to the specific needs of divorced dads.

That said, my greatest honor, hands down, is being a dad. A champion of divorced dads, I'm fiercely dedicated to helping similarly committed fathers along the arduous path of divorce recovery, actively appearing on TV, podcasts and other media to educate, advocate for, and inspire fathers who are willing to embrace the journey. I also coach, mentor, and guide an earnest group of students who intend to overcome divorce and its stigmas, while choosing to show up for themselves, their children, and their new or future romantic relationships as they strive to become the best versions of themselves.
